Il Concerto Viennese is the new baroque music ensemble founded by the Austrian cellist Rudolf Leopold, who was solo cellist of Concentus Musicus Wien and member of the famous Wiener Streichsextett (Vienna string sextet). Rudolf Leopold, teaching at the Music University of Graz, brings together specialists of the baroque music scene in his ensemble, who are members of orchestras such as Concentus Musicus Wien (Nikolaus Harnoncourt), Hespèrion XXI (Jordi Savall) or the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
